Nippon Aluminum Alkyls, Ltd.(NAA) was established in 1968 to produce and sell aluminum alkyls. In 1968, NAA completed construction of a plant on a part of the site of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc(MCI) in Osaka which was later acquired by NAA and began operation in 1970. Since then, NAA has contributed to the development of the petrochemical industry by providing customers worldwide with high-quality aluminum alkyls.
Albemarle Corporation, the world's leading supplier of organometallics and new catalysts, acquired a 50% share in NAA in March 1997, and 50% share continues to be held by MCI.
Quality Control
We produce and supply stable, quality aluminum alkyls based on the quality policy "Customer Satisfaction through Safe and Stable Supply of Quality Products".
As our production process of aluminum alkyls is basically continuous and products are purified by distillation, the quality is very high and stable, so that we have scarcely experienced any quality problem these 30 years since we started production.
We received "Certificate of Approval of ISO9001" in 1995, and in year 2001, we also received ISO9001/2000.
We always record the analysis result of products that we supply to each customer, and are ready to show the trend graph of analysis data of these 10 years.

Safety Control
As organometallics such as aluminum alkyls are pyrophoric, they should be handled very carefully.
Therefore, for customers' convenience, we have prepared booklets titled "Safe Handling Instructions on Aluminum Alkyls" and "Safe Transportation of Aluminum Alkyls." A video tape is also available: "Controlling Aluminum Alkyl Fire."

Environmental Protection
We received the Certificate of Approval of ISO14001 in 2002.
Aluminum alkyls are pyrophoric, and should be transported with special vessels.
We have prepared many kinds of vessels from 150 ml canister for small samples to steel or stainless steel 1550L portable tanks for large-scale transportation.
